Madden 2006 for Madden 2005 ReadMe
----------------------------------------------------------

This is a franchise file with rosters that can also be used in exhibition mode. The franchise
file allows the years of experience to advance forward, so last years rookies say 2nd year,
and also allows for far more created players so that you could have 7 rounds of rookies.
I want to mention that San Diego ROLB Shawne Merriman and Cowboys ROLB Demarcus
Ware are OLB/DE hybrids. Their ratings appear low for first rounders, but that is because
of their lowered awareness because they are playing a new position. They are still two of
the best OLB's in the draft and play like beasts in the game.


To play an exhibition game with the rosters
--------------------------------------------------------------
1.) In the main menu, select "Game Modes" and then "Franchise".
2.) Select "Load" and load the "Maddn06" franchise file.
3.) In the franchise menu, select "My Team" and then "Export Team".
4.) I would suggest selecting all of the teams and saving them to your memory card.
x x x Each team that you save is only 50kb in size (under 1% of storage space)
5.) After saving the teams, exit the franchise mode and go back to the main menu.
x x x After you have done steps 1-5, you can skip to step 6 from now on.
6.) Select "Play Now" and then press "O" to "Load Team".
7.) Select your memory card and then press R1 until you see your "Exported Team" list.

To play a franchise with the rosters
--------------------------------------------------
1.) In the main menu, select "Game Modes" and then "Franchise".
2.) Select "Load" and load the "Maddn06" franchise file.
3.) Select "My Madden" and "Gameplay Settings" and adjust your settings to what you like.
x x x You will probably want to turn injuries on.
4.) Select "Training Camp" and press start if you want to advance to the preseason.
5.) Select "Schedule" and press start if you want to automatically generate a schedule.
6.) Select "Play Week" and uncheck "press O" all of the games you want the CPU to simulate.
x x x Only leave checks next to the team you want to control each week!
